Kenyatta Fletcher is the Chief Financial Officer for the U.S. Mint. He has more than 20 years effectively maintaining accurate accounting information for the Mint.
He joined the U.S. Mint in June 1999 as a stay-in-school employee within the Accounting Department. In 2010, he was promoted to Internal Control Branch Chief to ensure ongoing processes for operations throughout the Mint were adequately designed and functioning in an effective manner. In 2013, he was promoted to the Chief of the Accounting Division where he provided oversight and executive direction over day-to-day operations over the accounting function at the United States Mint. In 2016, Kenyatta was promoted to Deputy Chief Financial Officer to provide leadership and direction to ensure the development of relevant financial information, and timely financial budgeting and planning and financial reporting for senior leadership.
Kenyatta earned a B.A. in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting from Morehouse College.
