Paul Lewis is the Deputy Superintendent of the San Francisco Mint. He has 20 years of Federal service, joining the United States Mint in October of 2000. Paul began his career as the Packaging Manager and the following year became the Coining Manager. He served in this capacity for 15 years and then was promoted to the Deputy Plant Superintendent in February 2016.
Paul was recognized for his commitment to supporting and developing employees and teams by the Department of Treasury in 2016 with the Treasury Leadership Legacy Honors Award.
Paul is from the San Francisco Bay Area and was born in Richmond, California. He lives in Sonoma Valley with his wife and two children. He is a graduate of U.C. Davis with a B.S. in Soil and Water Science. He is an avid beekeeper and loves to spend time hiking with his family.
