Inspector James Broz has served the United States Mint Police in Denver since June 1997.
He previously worked for the Natrona County Sheriff’s Office in Casper, Wyoming. At the Sheriff’s Office, Inspector Broz served as a Detention Officer, Patrol Officer, SRT Team Leader and eleven years as a Criminal Investigator. Also, while at the Sheriff’s Office, Inspector Broz was the departmental pilot flying Search & Rescue missions, Evidence Recovery missions, wildland fire watch and occasional prisoner transport. Inspector Broz held several certificates and type ratings.
Inspector Broz served in the United States Navy for four years as an Air Traffic Controller at San Clemente Island and the Lemoore Naval Air Station, in California. After an Honorable Discharge, Inspector Broz worked for the Federal Aviation Administration as an Air Traffic Controller.
Inspector Broz graduated from the FBI National Academy in 2001.
