Characteristics

The obverse features a design of a male athlete competing in a swimming event.

The reverse features a design of the mark of the Atlanta Committee for the Olympic Games. The mark highlights key symbols: the Olympic Flame, the Olympic Torch, the Olympic Rings, a Greek column, and a "100" to mark the Centennial of the modern Olympic Games.
